We feel increased responsibilities to protect and preserve these wild places and not only perform river rafting trips but also to leave every campsite cleaner than when we arrived. Safety is and has always been the first priority at Ultimate Descents Nepal and it is the only company having guides trained in SRT (Swift water Rescue Technician), CPR and Wilderness First Aid.

UDN specializes in Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking expeditions in the Himalayan Rivers in Asia. It is a member of Nepal Association of Rafting Agents (NARA) and is also the authorized sales agent for Sherpa Outdoor Equipment. Apart from rafting, Ultimate Descents Nepal has the best experience in organizing airport transfers, hotel bookings, treks, domestic flights, mountain flights, wildlife safaris, sightseeing excursions, cultural tours, ballooning, mountain biking and adventure trips in conjunction with your river journey.

The Borderlands Adventure Centre

The Borderlands Adventure Centre is thrilled to be the only organisation in Nepal to offer canyoning. Canyoning is an extreme sport geared towards the ultimate sports enthusiast. It involves abseiling, sliding, jumping, climbing and swimming in Nepal's most unimaginable natural aquatic environment. The Borderlands Eco Adventure Resort offers you the most extensive knowledge, expertise, safety and variety of canyons in the nation.

As the pioneers of canyoning in Asia, we introduced this adventure sport in Nepal in 1996 and have been exploring these ruggedly beautiful, yet forbidden places since its inception. The Borderlands has canyons to suit your needs, from exploratory walks for school children to some of Nepal's most extreme environments. Despite all the fun and games, this sport requires the guidance of an expert. Our instructors are experienced canyoneers and believe that the practice of safe canyoning necessitates proper gear, continual vigilance and an excellent knowledge of these remarkable places.
